Xero's Email-to-Bills Feature:
Xero offers an email-to-bills feature that provides you with a unique email address for sending your bills to Xero. Not only will these bills automatically appear in Xero as draft bills, but Xero will also read and enter all the important information, including supplier name, date, amount, etc.
Also, useful for school credit cards: if you have a physical receipt, you can either use a scanner or simply take a photo with your phone and forward it to the designated email address. You can find this email address in the 'Bills to Pay' section under the 'Business' tab. From there, click on the "Automate Bill Entry" button on the far right, and you will find your unique email address.
Xero's eInvoicing:
Xero's eInvoicing is not only faster – it’s also a more efficient and secure way to manage invoices and bills. eInvoicing exchanges invoices directly between accounting software so incoming eInvoices show up as a draft bill waiting to be paid, saving you time on data entry. It’s a standard inclusion in Xero plans and takes just a few quick steps to register to receive eInvoices.
